Julie Clemensen
Matt Johnson
Julie Clemensen works for Mid-County as an
administrative assistant and was hired January 23,
2006. She earned her Associate degree in Marketing
and Business Administration and began her career
in that fi eld before moving into offi ce management.
Clemensen has 28 years of offi ce and administrative
experience. She lives in Cologne with her husband
and two sons. Julie loves attending her sons’ sporting events, reading,
singing, and spending time with her family.
Matt Johnson has been doing truck and auto repair
at Mid-County Coop for the past two years. He grew
up on a farm, and has been working on tractors and
trucks for as long as he can remember. He enjoys
using his skills to help customers, and he also enjoys
working as part of a team. When Matt is not at work,
he can often be found working on his own truck, or
spending time with his girlfriend and 3-year-old son.
Steve Salz
Mark Marketon
Mark Marketon joined Mid-County’s Energy division
as a fuel driver in mid-October. He has many years of
experience in commercial driving, primarily for the
road construction industry. In his spare time, Mark
enjoys camping, fi shing, and spending time with
family. He also grows crops and raises cattle at his
home in rural Howard Lake.
As part of Mid-County Coop’s agronomy team, Steve
Salz of rural Mayer enjoys being involved in sales,
soil sampling, custom application, delivery, and
more. Salz grew up on a farm near Fairmont, and
was a business owner for about 20 years. Wanting
to get back into agronomy, he began working at
Mid-County part time in 2012, and became a full-
time staff member in April. Salz and his wife, Cheryl, have two children
– Lesley graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a business/
marketing degree in May, and Joe is a junior at St. Thomas, pursuing a
degree in actuary science.
