If you have not signed up for “Scheduled Delivery,” please send back the proper form so we can sign you up, or if you have misplaced your form, please call us at 952-466-3720 and we can assist you. We get several questions as to why you have to sign up for scheduled delivery every year. It is a matter of safety for the homeowner. We have had cases where the customer sold their house or switched to natural gas. One of the worst situ- ations is where the customer switches to natural gas and they remove the tank, but leave the piping in place. The driver un- knowingly pumps 265 gallons of fuel oil on to the customer’s basement fl oor. Remember that at Mid-County you can prepay propane year-round. You can still be on scheduled delivery, even if you do not wish to prepay. Either fi ll out a form or call us at [phone]. The past few months, the energy markets have been fl uctuat- ing up and down, sometimes as much as 10 cents in one day, making it impossible to fi nd any trends as to where prices are heading. The US has adequate supplies of gasoline, fuels, and propane. And we have an abundance of crude oil as we are writing this article. One of the biggest drivers to the energy markets has been the value of the dollar. If the dollar goes up – energy goes down. The dollar has also had some wild swings, as well.
