AUTO, TRUCK & TIRE CENTER Winter is coming, get your vehicle prepped before it’s too late! Winter weather can take a serious toll on vehicles and equipment if not checked before the snow fl ies. Maintaining your ve- hicle is the best insurance to keep your car or truck running optimally and your fam- Brent Geyen ily safe on the road. At Mid-County Auto, Service Manager Truck & Tire, our safety inspection covers (952) 466-3711 the full health and condition of your vehicle to keep you armed with the knowledge of what should be done be- fore the cold weather starts. Here are the top three items to consider before winter arrives. 1. Have us check your tire tread levels During our multi-point safety inspection, we will check each tire’s tread level. Low tread levels can have serious consequences dur- ing the winter season including decreased traction and increased stopping distance. Replacing tires that have low tread levels before winter hits will ensure proper vehicle handling as well as give you and your family peace of mind in knowing that you will be safe even during the worst of winter conditions. 2. Have us replace your tires If the multi-point safety inspection reveals the tires have low tread levels we would recommend you take advantage of our excellent tire plan. With every purchase of a set of four tires you will receive a complimentary road hazard warranty. This warranty includes free rotations for the life of the tires, free alignment checks to ensure proper tread wear and to maximize tire life, as well as our road haz- ard warranty. The road hazard warranty covers all possible tire leaks including bead leaks or punctures. At Mid-County Auto, Truck & Tire, we want to make sure that you receive the highest level of safety to combat those cold winter days and nights. 3. Get your battery tested at Mid-County Auto, Truck & Tire A simple battery load test can save you from potentially being stranded on a freezing winter road. Battery power depletes over time which makes it imperative to have it tested periodically. As a battery starts to lose power it increases the chances of battery fail- ures, which can include slow starts, or the nightmare of a completely dead battery. Cold weather increases the likelihood of potential bat- tery failures. Having us check your battery will ensure your vehicle starts the fi rst time, every time.
