The College has a virtual air cabin, giving students the opportunity to put their skills into practice. Additional elements of the course include a Level 2 City and Guilds qualification in air cabin crew.
BTEC Diploma in Travel & Tourism (Level 2)
Length of Course 1 year Course Includes * Travel and tourism in the UK and worldwide destinations. * Organising events and promotions and dealing with customers. * Practical assessments, day excursions and overseas residential visits.
BTEC Extended Diploma in Travel & Tourism (Level 3)
Length of Course 2 years – equivalent to 3 GCE A levels Course Includes * Travel and tour operations industry, resort representatives and the promotional techniques used in the industry. * Customer service and other skills required to seek work in the industry. * Day trips, overseas residential visits and off site assessment at the airport. * Role of air cabin crew on board the aircraft and airline emergency procedures.
