Plagiarism
Plagiarism is the deliberate attempt to seek unfair advantage by passing off work, ideas, words or concepts
produced by someone else as your own. The College views plagiarism as a very serious example of academic
misconduct and it may result in the failure of your course. Plagiarism may be unintentional and your previous
educational experience may not have provided clear guidelines on how to cite source material. However, as
your course progresses, you will be given clear advice on this.
