The College’s Careers service is available to assist learners in making informed career choices. Karen Wray is our Careers and Employability Officer and can be contacted via email on [email protected] Karen Wray Our Learner Support Fund provides financial help to students facing difficulties. Help is available with the cost of: * Course books and equipment * Uniforms * Educational visits * Travel to and from College * Miscellaneous costs such as DBS checks etc The Careers & Employability service also aims to help you with problems or issues which might be causing you concern. You may be seeking assistance to find the right course for you, help to complete your course successfully or how to progress to a higher level course or even guidance on how to obtain a job. Applications can be made once you have accepted a place on a course and a decision will be given once the funding has been confirmed, usually prior to the start of term. The funding becomes available once a learner has started attending the course in September. The fund is limited and applications are assessed individually on the basis of need. What is there for me?
