As play raged on Shamrock Club tacked on two, followed by Brocach tacking on two of their own to tie it up once more. It was an intense final minutes of the match, and every time someone got the lead you anticipated that dreaded whistle to mark the end of play. The teams traded frees with time winding down before Bandit Shannon Meller again snuck inside, scooped up the sliotar and drove a dagger past the keeper, and right into the heart of the Griffins. Time expired shortly after as the Brocach Bandits complete their undefeated season to become the 2014 MHC Champions with a close, but final score of 3-13 (22) to Shamrock Club’s 2-13 (19).
