The Comfort Keepers’ defense wouldn't allow any scoring from the Terrors, until ill-timed penalty call for Swick Tech. The 65 allowed Sean Patrick “Bobblehead” Fehrenbach to deftly send it flying through the uprights to bring the Ravens ahead by a point, and sent the two teams to halftime Comfort Keepers up 1-1 (4) to Swick Tech’s 1-0 (3).

After pep talks, hydration and changing sides, both teams were ready to take on the last half of the season. Pickles and William Joseph “Milkshake” Courtright expertly worked the defense for Swick Tech, sending it back up the sidelines. Pele and Niall “Creeper” Carr continued to move the ball up the field to Terror teammate Hobbes, who expertly pointed, tying up the game again.

Hannah “Montana” Fortier called to take a sideline cut for the Ravens, showing that girls were in this to win it too, and sliced it across the field right to Camille “Leopard” McCommons who drove it further along. But Pickles was right there for Swick Tech to grab it and send it up to Hobbes, who scored point number two, taking the Terrors ahead by a narrow margin. Bobblehead maneuvered past the wily Swick Tech midfield to get into scoring position, but Hobbes and Happy Feet teamed up to stop him cold in his tracks. Working as an expert team, they snatched the sliotar away, and Happy Feet, again, slammed it in the back of the net, for his second goal of the day!

The Comfort Keepers were not done yet though, as the ball was sent down to the other end where Rowan “Wolverine” Karrer was waiting to do damage! Bringing the ball in close, he snuck it into the back of the net to close the gap. Swick Tech, after a deep puck-out by Reagan “Prez” Chase, moved the ball up again into the waiting hands of the Terror offense. As the ball moved around all players got a chance to touch it, but Happy Feet sealed the deal with another goal, giving him a HAT TRICK for the day!

The final quarter came like a shot in the dark. This was it, and every player was giving their all for these last precious minutes of the season. Cooper “Squeaky” Larsen deftly pucked-out to mid-fielders Bones and Frogger, who were back in action this quarter with hand passes leading to soloing and attempts at goals. But the Terrors were standing their ground and continued to send it right back into the waiting hands of Pickles, who scooped it up and sent a stunning hit through the uprights with a minute left on the clock.

Both teams put their all into that last minute, and kept the ball ping-ponging back and forth across the field. Then the whistle blew and the game was over...All kids lined up with smiles on their faces. Coaches high-fived to an AMAZING end to an AMAZING season! We thank all players and parents for a great year, and look forward to next year. To coin a lyric that has started to take hold of the U11 players "EVERYTHING IS AWESOME, EVERYTHING IS COOL WHEN YOU'RE PART OF A TEAM".
