As is customary for this time of the year,
May has been a relatively quiet period
for new memberships but this is quite
typical, this decrease is highlighted by the
above normal new memberships received
last month, assisted by the fifteen new
members who joined up at the Concours
at our membership table there.
All members will be pleased to know
that they are to get a free ‘gift’ – an extra
month on their 2014 membership. The
end date for 2014 memberships has been
extended to 31st January 2015 and this
closing renewal date will now apply for
all subsequent years. All renewal notices
for 2015 will be sent out on Monday 5th
January. This will allow all Club members
and the MGCC Board and Officials, and
selfishly ourselves, a more relaxing time
over Christmas and New Year without
the stress of having to meet the previous
December 31st deadline for renewals
