MGA/MAGNETTE ANNUAL DINNER
2 ND DECEMBER 2018
We individually made our way to the
Belair Hotel for our Annual Dinner. Only
Arthur Ruediger, the Dickers, Micklems
and Fietz’s used their MGA’s. The rest
of us opted for the air-conditioned plastic
with roofs. Those attending were –
Karen and Murray Stephenson
Roger and Caroline Boylen
Gary and Velli Algate
Trev and Sandy Dicker
Ian and De Denny
Peter and Rhonda Fietz
Pauline and Tony Welsh
Kevin Roper
Arthur Ruediger
Nick and Dennise Micklem
And Alan and I.
We were very fortunate to have a func-
tion room to ourselves which made the
dinner much more enjoyable. Lots of
interaction before we sat down to dinner
and more throughout the meal. I can
recommend the Belair to anyone want-
ing a quality meal with good service.
The prawn entrée could easily be
served as a main course and the plum
pudding dessert was one of the better
Christmas puddings going around.
Thanks very much to the Belair Hotel,
Sam and the other staff.
During the evening I received a very
nice bottle of Bird in Hand sparking wine
for my efforts during the year. I was
also able to let everyone know that the
Club had found a Regalia Officer and I
was therefore able to continue with the
co-ordinators position for the MGA/
Magnette Register. Although I will still
leave the item on the agenda for our
January meeting, it seems that I will
continue in the role.
Thank you to Kevin Roper for photos on
the night. One of these could be appro-
priately described as the Three Wise
Men, in keeping with the season. Or,
