March 2019 office we connected our phones to the sound system in order to get a replacement for the missing CD player. Most of the drive from Mel- bourne was spent getting familiar with the new controls, in particular using the indicator located on the left hand side of the steering wheel. There were strong cross winds but the car was easily controlled in these condi- tions. On Wednesday, as Wes was driving it to the Mitcham Service Centre, there was a display of flashing police lights as Wes was pulled over for driving a car which appeared to be unregistered. Once the temporary permit was shown all was well. A couple of weeks later we are still very happy with our purchase. The clock is now showing Adelaide time rather than Melbourne time. The in- structions in the manual on how to make this change were totally use- less. A full fuel tank (42 litres) lasts about as long as a full tank in the Mit- subishi (60 litres) but we need to use 95 octane fuel. The turning circle, the worst feature of the 380, is brilliant. There is virtually no road noise and the engine noise is minimal. The biggest difficulty is convincing people it is an MG. We understand the difficulties. There are no oil leaks, it is a quiet car and the battery is covered with Chinese script.
