5. Dean Hosking has a mate who is
looking for an XPAG engine block to
work on virtually to destruction, I would
give him an old Morris block to play
with, anyway if you know of one, let
Dean know.
6. Bob Schapel found an original pre-
war sales booklet issued out of the MG
factory at Abingdon. A most useful
guide to all things MG apparently, simi-
lar to the Green & Gold cookbook I am
told, has everything you need to know.
7. Ian Hobbs, now the proud owner of
the recently acquired Pearson TC from
NSW. Picked up that very afternoon, Ian
was spooked by the logbook that we
have been filling out forever. Look at the
photos, it’s a great car, did 1500k’s with-
out rising above 85 degrees C, burns no
oil but dropped some on Dean’s pavers
I am reliably told. Welcome Ian to the
dramas that are MG TC.
The wrap.

Thankyou Anthony for your kind words
and for bringing mother Joy along to the
meeting, keep it up.

Apologies from me if I left you off the
email list and for the misprint of the ad-
dress in the magazine and website.
Dean consulted the owners at #3 Han-
naford Rd, they were quite disappointed
not to see the cars, but all credit to Mr
Superclean Dean, a nice sign was af-
fixed to the kerb just in case.
