PRESIDENTS REPORT
From.. .Adrian Ward
H
i Members and Friends, welcome
to the New Year that will be full of
MG activity.
David Pearson
Our Club's oldest member David Pear-
son sadly passed away in January.
David was a Club Life Member, T-
Register regular and strong supporter
and with wife Joy was a driving force of
the Historic Registration Panel. Our sin-
cerest condolences to Joy, Anthony and
family. David will be sadly missed.
Committee Members
for Motor Sport Secre-
tary, as Murray Stephenson has relo-
cated to Macclesfield and will not be re-
nominating.
Steve Spong who has relocated to Vic-
tor Harbor will not be re-nominating for
Committee and is seeking someone to
take over the running of Breakfast
Runs. I thank both Murray and Steve
for the huge amount of time and dedica-
tion they have both put into the various
Club events during their term of office.
They will both be greatly missed.
Ian Curwen-Walker
Ian turned 88 on Tuesday 8th January
2019.
We sang "Happy Birthday" and gener-
ally made a fuss of him at the Monthly
Meeting.
The T-Register did likewise the previous
week.
Tonneau Cover
If you left a Tonneau Cover at the Bird-
wood Motor Museum after the Kimber
run on 11th November, call me as I
know where it is !!
Hoping to see you soon in your MG....
Christmas Function
Once again this event went very well,
and Father Christmas (AKA Brian Hills
and his little helper Tyler Edwards) did a
wonderful job. A good time was had by
all those in attendance. Thanks to you
both.
Keep on MG'ing...!!
Regards
Adrian Ward
