MGF & Modern meeting
Friday December 7 th
ell another successful night as we
had approx 35 persons attend .
The idea of the night was to have a BBQ
and try and get some more ideas as to
what our members would like to do next
year .
The night did turn out a little different as
Peter Coulson had spoken to New Spot
the new MG distributor in Adelaide .
Their Sales person Jason Cooke at-
tended the meeting and also brought
down another MG ZS for the members
to look at .In fact not mentioning names
but one member might have dig deep in
his pockets soon, as his wife was very
impressed .
Jason was very impressed with our club
and the hospitality shown to him by the
members, we are sure this relationship
will only prosper with time .the profile of
club will be lifted even further as we
have been invited to display a car at

their showroom .Also in the future dif-
ferent models will be displayed at our
club rooms .
After his talk about his company and
obviously the MG models we presented
Jason with a club Polo shirt and
cap .we thought it was a nice gesture
as there now is a very nice MG door
mat at the rear doors courtesy New
Spot .
We are still looking for ideas for next
year so when the register members
have time you can send your ideas to
Dick manning or myself .

Sandra & Alan Cardnell for their great
help always appreciated and of course
to my fellow chef Dick Manning for or-
ganising the
food .
