SECRETARY’S ANNUAL REPORT

I hereby present this sixty third (63 rd ) Annual Secretary’s Report of THE MG CAR
CLUB OF SA INCORPORATED, covering January to December, 2018. As the new
boy in the job, I thank Arthur Ruediger for his work in the role over the last 13 years.
The hand-over was beneficial and sometimes still on-going. The role of Secretary
for this club, is varied and at times all consuming. I thank the members for their pa-
tience in my getting to grips with the role, and wish the new secretary all the best in
his new challenge.
Our membership reduced slightly during the year. Total membership at the end of
the 2018 club year, was 919 down from the 2017 number of 937 members.
