MG Car Club of South Australia BREAKFAST RUN REPORT From..Steve Spong, Photos by David McNabb Breakfast Run to Macclesfield 29 July 2018 Attendees: O nce more we defied the promised rains and had a dry, but very chilly, breakfast run to Macclesfield. Another good winter's turn out, with guests David & Pauline in their MGF who came along to see what the Club is all about. Plus we were joined by what must be our youngest Club Member, Ben Har- greaves with his dad Michael. It's not often that you see an MGBGT with "L" plates, but that was Ben in the car he, along with his dad, had been busily working on to be able to come on the run. So well done Ben on a very well presented car! Leigh & Judy Albertson were at last back in their MGB after a new overdrive box was fitted and the engine rebuilt. The Turners joined us en-route after a dead battery was replaced by the RAA. Tony Freckleton showed us photos of his newly acquired project, a Mk2 Mini. We all had a very pleasant run through some nice quiet and windy roads, to Macclesfield. Here we clung to our hot coffees to keep warm, with eventually many of the ladies inspecting the street market before joining the men folk in the pub for lunch. So once again thanks to all who came. 20 David McNabb Jeanette Walsingham-Meath & Sandy Gary & Velli Allgat Geoff Goode Leigh & Judy Albertson Andy Furman Bryan & Wendy Turner Trevor White & Robyn Sanders Alan & Ros Foweraker Phil & Ester Smith Audris & Iris Smitts Berry Treffers and dog Brandi Ben and Michael Hargreaves (First timers) Jim & Joan Hanna Steve Spong Wanda & Tony Freckelton David & Pauline (guests) Peter & Sharon Coulson Daryl and Harrison Kelly MGTD MGTF MGA MGA MGB MGB MGB MGB MGB MGB MGB MGB MGBGT MGBGT MGBGT MGBGT MGF MGZR MGZS
