Breakfast Run to Goolwa Beach 25 March 2018

he weather gradually improved as we drove south on our annual run to Goolwa Beach and to Don Walker ' s place . This is always a great opportunity to catch up on Don ' s latest project , and this year he did not disappoint .

Having recently sold his lovely TC , Don had bought a 2.3 litre , 1936 MG SA Tickford Drophead " Foursome " no-less . The car is one of only 4 or 5 in the Country and came from Gosford , and to say the least is in need of some slight renovation . So Don is undertaking a ground-up restoration and we will be very keen to monitor his progress .

A first timer on the day was local Rob Gordon in his very smart TF . We also met Wayne Spenser who was on a short trip back from the UK , where he is an engineer with Red Bull and in fact works on their RB14 F1 car !

So thanks to all who came , and especially to Don with assistance from Jeanette and Campbell the dog , for their warm welcome and hospitality . With thanks , as always , to David McNabb for his great " happy snaps ".
