MID WEEK LUNCH RUN NEWS

A
s we watched the temperatures
climb this week it was unlikely that
any MGs would be on the run, however
Gary & Jenice came in their MGF in this
extreme heat. We were fortunate that a
smaller group of members met at the
Crafers Hotel - the others meeting up
with us at the O G Hotel. There were
unforeseen road blockages on today’s
route, which David & I discovered on the
way to Crafers requiring us to change
the directions to the lunch venue. During
morning tea the decision was made to
make our own way there. In summer we
tend to lunch in the suburban areas to
avoid long drives home.
It was good to see Ian & Di Williamson
again after their trip to the UK. Our
president Adrian sat with us & Don Mo-
yes & Rosa as well as Dick Manning
came along for the lunch. Thank you for
your suggestions for more venues new
to us to try out in 2018..
Next mid week lunch run will be on 8
March, 2018 to the Maylands Hotel, 67
Phillis St. Maylands meeting at the
Crafers Hotel at 10.30am and depart-
ing at 11.30am. If you would like to
