Sunday 17 June – MSCA Super Sprint Round 2, Mallala The second MSCA super sprint is on at Mallala so get your entries in on CAMS event entry system for this event. You only have a few days left! If you’re not competing come out to have a look and encourage our mem- bers. Our team is centred around shed 47 so come and say hello. Sunday 15 July – MSCA Super Sprint Round 3 incl Come & Try, Mallala Round 3 will include a Come & Try sec- tion so, if you have ever thought about getting out there on track for some fun, to improve your driving techniques or just to have a look at the track, this is your opportunity. You will receive expert classroom tuition and supervised on track sessions to learn what it’s all about and to have some fun. Alternatively, consider giving the opportunity to a fam- ily member or friend. Participants do not need to belong to a car club and they purchase a competition licence for the day. It’s great fun and you will learn something. Be careful, motorsport is addictive! Round 3 is also a round for which MGCCSA provides flag marshals so please let me know if you can assist. Best seats in the house to watch the action, great lunch and the opportunity for some parade laps at lunchtime all at no cost to you. No experience needed as you will be teamed with someone who can show you the ropes. Murray Stephenson Motorsport Secretary Peter Hall Memorial 6HR Relay By John Davies The Peter Hall 6 Hr relay was run on Sunday 6th May at Mallala Motorsport Park. The event is named after Peter Hall OAM who along with many other official duties was the MSCA President for many years. It is due to Peter's motorsport involve- ment that we are able to compete in Sprints as they are sanctioned today. Peter was also instrumental in the devel- opment of the concept of the 6HR relay as an ultimate club and team motorsport event. Peter was sadly killed in a Motorsport crash at Phillip Island in 2013 and this event is now held in his Honour. 32
