points for 2nd in class, 4 points for 3rd in
class, 3 points for 4th in class, 2 points
for 5th in class, l point for 6th in class
plus one extra point for outright winner
of the event
The Cup was once called the Mortlock
Cup.
It was presented to the Port Lincoln
Racing Club by the Mortlock family in
the early 30’s.
The Cup was acquired by Tim Young in
1980 and presented to the MG Car
Club, and is now known as the KNOX
Trophy
The above is adopted provided there is
a minimum of 6 drivers in the class.
Where there are less than 6 drivers,
points will decrease accordingly eg. 4 in
class 1st = 4points.
