CLUB REGISTRATION NOTES

A reminder, for replacement of about to
expired log books – date of replacement
is shown in red at the top of the front
cover, please bring just three things:
your new membership card to show
you are continuing as a financial mem-
ber, your blue rego papers for us to
stamp to prove you are the owner of the
vehicle and finally, your old log book,
for cancellation and replacement. Still at
a cost of only $5, log book replacement
is now that simple!
Normal operations have resumed at the
Club rooms for the remainder of the year
to November 2018 on the 2 nd and 4 th
Saturdays of each month, finishing for
the year on December 1 and 8, open
from 10 am to 12 noon.

HISTORIC MOTOR VEHICLES
REGISTERING THE CAR CLUB
new requirement has just been an-
nounced. When you receive your
next renewal notice for Club Registra-
tion, you may be requested to attend a
SA Service Centre to update their re-
cords. You will need proof of the car
club you belong to. Your current MG
Car Club of SA membership card should
suffice as evidence. This is most to ap-
ply to cars placed on the scheme before
2012.
On the matter of renewal of Condi-
tional Registration during the year,
please amend the current year section
in your log book; there is no need to
visit the club rooms on a Saturday
morning. Later, we will update your
records during the log book update pe-
riod, in January and February next year.
