MG CLUB CHALLENGE
June 9 th and 10 th , 2018

INVITATION
We are inviting all M.G. club members to join us for a weekend of fun club Motor
Sport. This year the MG Club Challenge will be centered around Murray Bridge
SA, with events being held at Collingrove Hillclimb near Angaston, and The Bend
Motorsport Park at Tailem Bend. (A new Motorsport facility in SA).
Entrants may compete in either or both events; and trophies will be awarded for
1st, 2nd and 3rd in class at each event as well as outright, and presented at the
dinner on Sunday evening.
The Nuffield Trophy scoring system will be used to decide which centre wins the
Perpetual Challenge Trophy.
WHEN
Queens Birthday long weekend Saturday 9 th and Sunday 10 th June, 2018.
PROGRAMME
Saturday 9th June – Collingrove Hillclimb
Venue: Collingrove Hillclimb,
71 Hillclimb Road, Mt McKenzie (Barossa Valley)
Format: Timed Runs on the Collingrove Hillclimb Track and will be run in
class order
Time: 8.00am-9.30am Document Check/Scrutineering
9.15am Driver’s Briefing, followed by track observation run
9.30am Start of Event
Evening: Free Time - However an optional and informal social gathering
has been arranged at the Riverscape Restaurant, 1 Murray
Cods Drive, Murray Bridge (web: riverscape.com.au)
Tables booked from 6pm. Meals and drinks at own cost and
order individually as required.
