run four different configurations and two
of those, the east and west circuits, will
be able to operate simultaneously. The
Challenge ran on the West circuit which
includes a one kilometre front straight.
The facilities are excellent but there
was a lot to learn about running at this
venue. The undulating nature of the
track meant that eleven flag points
needed to be operating and although
there was some concern prior to the
event the response from MGCC and
other clubs was amazing. No flag point
had less than three people in it.
On the day there were sixty officials
signed on from MGCC SA & Vic,
MSCA, MX-5 Club, Alfa Romeo, Austin
Healey, SAMROA and many more.
