very generous members, the sum of
$114 was raised and I sent a cheque off
to Foodbank to assist their work. The
prize, a wooden box featuring the MG
logo and an MGA, crafted in years past
and handed on to me by Bob Bazzica,
was won by Gloria George. She very
kindly donated the MGA model to Gary
Algate, who, up until then, did not have
an MGA model. It was blue, but has
now been painted BRG to match his car.

At the end of the evening, I was given a
bottle of my very favourite tipple – Bird
in Hand Sparking Pinot Noir. Thanks to
everyone for the gift and your support
during the past year.
