Pictured are Bob Bazzica, Shelley, Adrian Ward and Peter Auld with the Trophy
and the 1935 MG KN Magnette Bazz has restored from the ground up.
T
he MG KN Magnette was produced
from 1934—1935 in various con-
figurations, Bazz’s car was originally a 4
door pillarless saloon in very run down
condition, ie; lots of rusty parts.
He rebuilt the complete car as the Cor-
sica bodied version the same as Cecil
Kimber drove back in the day.
One exception was Bob hinged the door
at the back to make entry/exit easier.
Powered by a SOHC 6 cylinder 1271cc
engine with a 4 speed gearbox.
Produced 56 bhp, top speed 78 mph
and cost £399 at the time.
Bob’s next project is to equip the engine
with a supercharger the same as the K3
the sheet metal surround is already fit-
ted to the front of the car.
