So thanks to all who came and it was
good to explore a different area of the

ell this month we finally had a dry

About half of us set off from Veale Gar-
dens, and it was interesting to note that
there were not two MGB's of the same
colour as we drove pretty much in con-
voy all the way. The remainder of the
party joined us in Gawler with a few join-
ing the line from Lyndoch. Our club
President and First Lady took their very
nice MX5 on the run, giving the BGT a
rest for the day.
David McNabb and Kerry made the ex-
cuse that they were the slowest and so
set off from Veale Gardens ahead of the
rest of us, setting us the challenge to
reel them in. Needless to say by the
time we all arrived at Kapunda they
were onto their second cup of coffee
and David was photographing our late
arrival. So thanks again to David for his
set of photos.
Davidson Reserve at Kapunda is a
pleasant spot surrounding a small lake
with plenty of geese and ducks. Unfor-
tunately the lake was very low for some
unexplained reason, it being the middle
of winter. The Council have gone to
some efforts in landscaping and provid-
ing shelter and tables etc, although the
small toilet block left a lot to be desired!
Berry's dog Tarni embarrassed herself
by chasing a goose into the lake and
going for a swim, much to our amuse-
ment and Berry's displeasure at having
a soggy doggy for company all the way
