How was the winter of our
Q uestion:
discontent made glorious summer in
the MG shed ?
How, well it was a night of good old
fashion yacking , talking and chewing
the fat !

ing us with a great night, car display,
comfortable shed venue and good old
fashion tucker.

The register members wish
to convey their condolences
to the Southgate family, es-
pecially Jill on the passing of
our former member Wes. A
card has been sent to Michael South-
gate his son in Melbourne on behalf of
the members.
I first met Wes & Jill at his register meet-
ing out at Prospect some years ago ,
one of nature’s true gentlemen , pas-
sionate about his cars especially the MG
PB which was always admired when
driven by Wes to our register events.
Who will ever forget the rain sodden
night at Ken Fisher’s when Wes drove
into the garage topless (no hood Mozza)
to the amazement of all. I am sure that I
speak for you all in saying it was a privi-
lege to have known Wes as a car club
member and a man.
