MGCC Clubrooms
Monthly General Meetings
Held at 8.00 pm on the second Tuesday of
each month at the Clubrooms. All those who
are interested in MGs are welcome.
“Noggin’ & Natter”
Every Friday night at the Clubrooms. Time:
7.30 pm - ~ 10.00 pm. All welcome for a
chat and a drink. Licensed premises.
Tea and coffee available.
Register Meetings
“T” Reg. First Thursday of each month.
Time: 7.00 for 7.30 pm.start. Venues as
advertised in Register Report. Everyone
welcome - even if you don’t own a Register
vehicle.
MGF Reg. Last Friday of the month at the
clubrooms 7.30pm
MGA/Magnette Reg Bi-monthly on the
third Thursday of the month, starts Jan in
odd numbered months, 7.00 pm for 7.30

une has been a busy month, particu-
larly for Motorsport with the MG
Interclub Challenge in Melbourne over
the Queens Birthday long weekend back
on the agenda and with our club taking
the trophy, with 9 cars and 10 drivers
competing it is a pity that not more
members were involved as it was a
great weekend.
Of particular interest also is the release
of the new Conditional Registration
Scheme rules, see page 36, I for one
have been waiting for this review for
some time.
As I have mentioned previously my local
council is hell bent on introducing a
blanket 40kph speed limit throughout the
whole council area, with the exception of
those “ major roads” designated 60kph, I
wonder if there is a hidden agenda
here?
I would be interested in your thoughts on
this matter as perhaps it may tend to
flow through to your council areas in due
course, drop me a line if you have a
view on this matter.
