Tim has also been heavily involved in
Motorsport over the many years since in
an Official Capacity in various roles with
CAMS, on the Scrutineering Panel, and
also Stewarding and Scrutineering at
numerous events, and nurturing new
participants to the sport which all reflects
on the Club.
I
n the early 1970s, Tim Helped wire
up the MG clubrooms which the club
had just purchased, and he was
awarded a special trophy in recognition
of his efforts.
1976 – He joined the MG Car club in
mid 1976
1979 – 1983 Competition Secretary, as
well as CAMS Steward, CAMS State
He has attended MG National Meetings
for 40 years, many of which he was one
of the two MG Car Club of SA’s Dele-
gates at the Delegates Conference
which followed these events.
Tim is currently Club Vice President
