MID WEEK LUNCH RUN NEWS

he weather looked promising for our
first winter run this year. After meet-
ing at The Maid in Stepney it was neces-
sary to drive through some of the subur-
ban traffic on our way to the Esplanade
& Lady Gowrie Drive where we could
enjoy the scenery along the coast on our
way to the Sailmaster Tavern at North
Haven.
This was the first time our group has
lunched there. The food was good as
well as the prices - a Seniors menu for
$10.50 pp. as well as seniors get 20%
off all menu items from Monday to
Thursday. The dining room is spacious
and affords a wonderful view looking out
over the huge marina where there are
multiple sections & hundreds of boats on
show including some very classy yachts
& cruisers.
Our thanks to Rodger Polkinghorne,
who did a great job of looking after the
lunch run while David & I were away last
month. Once again thank you to the
members who come along each month
to support us,
Next mid week lunch run will be on 13
July, 2017 to the Victoria Hotel at
O’Halloran Hill meeting at the Arkaba
Hotel at Fullarton from 10.30am and
departing at 11.30am. If you would
