moment – I have never before, nor
am likely at any time in the future to
be able to sup champagne from a
chalice that is so valuable AND so
steeped with MG history.
As I drove back to my digs later that
evening (quite sober), I reflected on
my good fortune to have been so
warmly welcomed by members of our
great club and the camaraderie that
derives from our shared passion. I
also wondered what ‘the poor people
were doing’ (viz owners of lesser
makes) that night!
