The dates are set as the 30th December until the 4th of January 2014 and the venue is Clareville, so that’s familiar territory, but we are making some major changes to appeal to the masses of sport flyers out there. The Rally is being extended to run for four days and will include display flying by the National Champions in many of the disciplines as well as informal competitions for sports flyers. Options being considered at the moment include Assassin Combat and FPV pylon racing. We intend to make full use of the Hall at Clareville for indoor flying and will be catering for micro helicopters, lightweight floaters like the Vapour series and would like to see sufficient interest in F3P and Aeromusical flying to run a competition. The final day of the Rally on Sat 4th will begin with a Swapmeet so that you can exchange your unwanted model aircraft gear for cash and spend it on other things that you always wanted.
