Kapusong Pinoy celebrity stars bring heart and laugh in Vancouver

A spectacular show wowed the FilipinoCanadian crowd on Friday’s Kapusong
Pinoy concert held at Orpheum Theater in
Vancouver recently complete with comedy,
songs and dances. The Philippine Queen of
Comedy Ai-ai delas Alas led the entourage
with other GMA Network’s Kapuso
mainstays like Christian Bautista, Alden
Richard, Betong Sumaya and Jonalyn
Viray.
Naturally, the crowd went crazy
with Delas Alas’ dazzling see-through
and scanty outfits as if having an outré
appearance is part of her package in
a concer t. Her well-choreographed
production numbers backed up by GMA
dancers were entertaining.

Kapuso performers.

Alden Richards with a thrilled fan
Manila! Manila!
delivered effective punch lines that elicit
roars from the audience. Delas Alas’
shticks and chatty banters with Sumaya
were successful as well.
Jonalyn Viray was there to impress
the people with her no-fail vocal prowess,
hitting the right notes at all time, proving
that she is indeed a Pinoy pop superstar
champion.
A number of fans got fantastic
experience with Filipino crooners Christian
Bautista and Alden Richards when they
were invited to a sing-along number on
the stage. Bautista draw wild cheers from
the giddy fans when he went down to the
audience area and gave away red roses.
The Kapuso fever soared high when the
performers dipped into the classic OPM
songs delighting the Filipino-Canadian
audiences.
