The KLOWNZ Comedy Bar delivers Fun and Laughter
Philippine comedians met excited
fans and sponsors at Pinpin Restaurant
in Surrey. The talented trio flew in from
Toronto.
Klownz Comedy Bar's Allan K raved
about Vancouver and the Filipino dishes
that owner Jojo and Virginia of Pinpin
served during dinner. "I've been almost to
all parts of the globe because of my job...
among all of the Filipino restaurants that
I've been to abroad, outside of Philippines,
this is the best!"
Simply The Best TV show host Luisa
Marshall interviewed the famous trio from
the Philippines and casually laughed about
impersonator Ate Gay's expressing her fear
of the English language to add to the lively
conversation.
When asked if they're proud being
Filipinos, comedian Boobay proudly said
"I believed that Filipinos are survivors. As
you can see, we easily adjust, adapt to any
place and we can excel wherever we are!"
Allan K followed up with "Tayong mga
Pilipino, para tayong mungo, kahit saan mo
itapon tutubo tayo! (We, Filipinos, are like
mung beans, anywhere you throw us, we
will surely grow).
The Klownz Canada tour started
in Winnipeg, Saskatoon and Toronto.
According to Allan K, Vancouver being
the last stop will be the best. Allan K
guaranteed that the River Rock show will
be hilarious, "pag hindi kayo natawa, balik
pera" (if you didn't laugh and enjoy, will
return your money).
Congratulations to Bojie Yangco for
bringing KLOWNZ COMEDY BAR LIVE
at the River Rock Casino. It was a big
success. Everybody had a fun and a
fabulous time and nobody asked for their
money back.
