Philippine Independence Day Celebrations
Pagbibigay Parangal sa Dakilang Lahing Pilipino
Dakilang Lahing Pilipino at Waterfront Park in North Vancouver.
It was a celebration of the noble race
(Dakilang Lahi) called 'the Filipino', as
thousands once again filled the landmark
Waterfront Park of North Vancouver on
June 13-14, 2015 to be with families, friends,
"kababayans" in a barrio fiesta atmosphere
of fun, food and fellowship, celebrating the
117th anniversary commemoration of the
declaration of Philippine Independence.

for the 9th year running, would like to thank

all sponsors, donors, booth holders and
the Filipino Canadian community for yet
another successful staging of the biggest
festival event celebrating the occasion.
MVPACES, this early, sets the blueprint
to their 10th year celebration in 2016,
hoping to declare a one-week festival of
Philippine Arts and Culture, showcasing the
best of what the Filipino has to offer in the
Canadian society of diverse culture.
