Luisa would like to raise awareness and in her own little way, in part, raise funds at the same time for Veteran PTSD, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder issues. Luisa has committed $5 of each ticket go directly to the Veterans Transition Network by default or the choice of each Legion branch if it has its own PTSD program. Money raised is left at each Legion. Tina Turner fans and Canadian Veteran supporters witnessed a most spectacular tribute show they could ever imagined with Luisa, the band and dancers on stage. Standing ovations and rave reviews in the Sid Williams Theatre (Courtenay), Tidemark Theatre (Campbell River) & the Port Theatre in Nanaimo which made the first weekend of the tour highly successful. The final show on Vancouver Island at the Port Theatre in Nanaimo​ was memorable when 3​ ​C anadian Military Veterans came up on stage wearing their uniforms and medals during the theme song of Hope Beyond Thunderdome 2016, PTSD Awareness Tour, “We Don’t Need Another Hero”. The audience gave them a standing ovation. TOTAL AMOUNT RAISED $3,686.00 on the 3 dates on Vancouver Island. British Columbia Af ter the successful shows on Vancouver Island, Luisa got a welldeserved break from traveling before the Veterans join Luisa on Port Theatre, Nanaimo, stage during “We Don’t Need Another Hero (Thunderdome)”. long 8 hour drive from Vancouver to Trail, BC. This time it was just Luisa’s solo show to hit the Legion venues for most of the remaining tour. The first two towns of Trail and Sparwood were sold out! Great crowds and standing ovations. Alberta After her first two towns in BC, Luisa was off to Alberta. Luisa was thrilled to find out that the next three shows in Alberta were also sold out, with a show in Banff, Strathmore and Cochrane. Recording breaking crowds with people asking for more, no doubt Luisa Marshall's Hope Beyond Thunderdome is off to a great start! As of early April and only at the beginning of her tour, Luisa has raised a total of $6,600 for PTSD awarness.
