different with every song how they come to life or come to be. Like the song Close Copyright. It was written from the wierd programming thing that Johnny reversed. He took our song "Gone", the very end of it, there was this crazy sweeping guitar part that the pitch shifts up a couple octaves. Johnny reversed it and put this transy beat to it that you kind of hear now with this very aggresive beat. What we wanted to do is create lyrics and match them to the song that were controversial and heart bounding and sort of gut wrenching. We always try to balance the lyrics with the music or try to create a happy marriage. (Laughing) Or atleast one that makes sense.

Mike: When you are on tour, do you give the whole creative process a break and try to concentrate soley on the tour or do you see yourselves constantly creating no matter what the situation?

Mark: Well we are probably always planning the next step. It would be nice to always enjoy just

the tour (laughing) and be in "Tour Mode" and relax a little more, do more site seeing but at this stage we are having to do everything at the same time. I do know we are all individually writing right now. Johnny is going to take on his first director role for our next music video, so his head is in that completely at the moment. We trust him with the vision he has with this next song and its going to be really cool. Dan is welding and building the next show piece and Paul and I are creating new ideas for the next record. But we all are trying to be productive and make the most of our time. Actually when we are home, we do get to be "OFF" and take a breather and relax with our family.

Mike: Being fairly new and being on tour, what is the best part and the worst part for you?

Mark: The best part is playing night after night with bands you respect and you get to know these individuals. They become your friends and possibly your best friends, you share stories and just enjoy life. Meeting the fans that have fallen in love with your music and have songs that have changed thier lives, which is why we do this in the first place. The worst part about it is of course being away from home. We all get home sick. I'm married and have a two year old son..geez I miss the shit out of him so much, fortunatly there are things like face time and the like, so I do get to see him. Touring is great for business, bad for family! (laughing)

MIke : Let's talk a bit about the song and video for Mr MTv. It has been very successful and you are pushing it pretty heavily. Can you tell me a bit about the song and the direction of the video and what you where trying to commincate to your audiance?

Mark: The song is about corporations like MTV that are bastardizing this next generation

of youth. What we mean by that is that they are telling society what's cool, what to buy, what

to look like and it's not inspirational anymore, we lost the heart of things, they are just selling shit and it definitely makes us very angry and I am sure you too you can remember what MTV

used to be like, it used to be a name changer, it was pretty cool. I remember that MTV used to be

the place I would go to find my music. Music is special, it's something that has changed my life and probably has had such a impact on me and how I do things. Its crazy how powerful it is or can be, but there is not that avenue anymore. Getting back to the song in the video, there are these test subjects, or prisoners that are chained to these chairs, and then there are overseers that are perfoming tests on them. Basically, there is a revolution and the prisoners break free and revolt against the overseers. At the end of the video one of the test subjects sees a labcoat and puts the coat on and it fits nicely and what we wanted to say or the twist in the video is "Ok, so here is the reality of the situation, this is the shit we are being fed and this is how we are being treated. So now that you are aware of it, we are all aware of it, we are all part of it, what are you going to do when you are in a position of power or authority. We wanted to portray that we are all part of the cycle and that's typically how the cycle goes..So hopefully we can change it.

Mike: Do you forsee that Nothing More will continue to point out issues like that lyrically?

Mark: Absolutly! That's the stuff that moves us and once again has changed our lives. In today's market of the rock genre, I feel that is has gone really stale and it's obvious. People are saying things like rock is dead and it just sucks. And I think that's why we have had so much notoriety and success because we have always harped on saying something and being honest to the point to where you see the truth in it and it's ugly, but it's the truth and those are the things that will set you free. We dont want to write and sing just about shit ya know? Half the tim you

have no idea what songs are about, the lyrics tend to be so vague. I mean did you not take

anytime with you lyrics? This is what 90% of listeners are attached to.

DDRM: One more question, is there anything you would like to say to your fans around the

world?

Mark: sure we are stoked for 2015, we will continue to tour around the country untill the middle

of February, and then we head off to Tokyo and then to australia for soundwave. We are super

thankfull for all the support of our family and fans and loved ones that have been with us over

the years to get us to this point. and speaking to the fans, we deffantley hope to see you at a

show and meet you aand share a conversation, thats what it is all about! we are just normal

dudes too that enjoy music and life!
