conduct is different than the last. The crowd very much dictate the atmosphere by how willing they are to participate and to unleash their potential to become heroes and sheroes along with having a goddamn ballsy good time. It’s fantastic when everyone comes dressed for a rescue mission, wearing the camouflage face paints and all this. Regardless, we always deliver on stage. We put it all out there, but we’ll adjust according to the crowd temperaments, we give ourselves room to adapt, just like any other life situation, right there. If the crowd is going absolutely goddamn bananas, I know I can focus more on my vocal delivery and be less physical, maybe. If the crowd is more sedate, I like to encourage them by setting example, and I’ll throw myself around the stage more wildly and put a higher priority on energy than on vocal performance. Stage invasions, crowd surfings, all these things are common at ArnoCorps audio assaults. The world is what you make of it, and so is ArnoCorps. There is no fate but what we make for ourselves! I have lost track of how many times I’ve been told “that was the best gig I’ve ever been to” after our sets. We cannot ask for better rewards than hearing those words.

Mike: What do you feel has been ArnoCorps' secret to success as a band?

Holzfeuer: Each member of ArnoCorps has made success a habit in all aspects of life, let me tell you. We extend our principles to everything we pursue, so each of us have ballsy accomplishments in areas outside of music and those successes have provided financial stability, allowing us to keep ArnoCorps all about pure heroics rather than profits. There’s no financial dependence on ArnoCorps and this is a luxury many other bands don’t have, so they end up compromising in ways we don’t have to. Of course we need to avoid financial losses with the band, but everything we do has remained pure and our global underground following continues to grow based on this unadulterated, pumped up action adventure rock that we create out of the love for it. We’re goddamn champions, what can I tell you? THAT is our secret!

Mike: What plans does ArnoCorps have for 2015?

Holzfeuer: For 2015, we’re looking to expand on our new relationship with Alternative Tentacles Records. We just signed with them last year and hope to foster a community kind of vibe amongst the other bands there, if we can. We’re suddenly on one of our all-time favorite legendary record labels, so we want to make the most of that, of course. Right now we’re in talks about touring Europe with fellow Alternative Tentacles band World/Inferno Friendship Society and to also possibly get on some festivals out there. We’d also like to put The Fantastic EP on vinyl this year. We’ve recorded a couple of new instrumental tracks to help give that release have some extra value, right there, beyond the CD version we released in 2013. We have many new songs in the works, but no hard schedule to record those. We recently updated our Wheel of Pain Push-Ups app available on the App Store, the world’s greatest verbal coaching and music-based exercise app which is currently being ported over to Android. The download is free, but you’ll want to upgrade to unlock all the ballsy features for just $1.99, right there! What other bands make their own exercise apps? None, that’s right! GO!!!!
