METAL ONSLAUGHT MAGAZINE - DECEMBER 2014 METAL ONSLAUGHT MAGAZINE | Page 6

write themselves! Some of my songs are silly and fun, and some are deep and dark...we don't just feel one emotion so I want to give the audience a variety of tracks... they're bound to find one they can relate to!

Currently you are at 11,858 subscribers Youtube, 1,426,626 views overall. Did you think

starting out that Youtube campaign

would be as successful as it has

been?

WOW! You know more about

my youtube numbers than me! I

don't want to be the person that

says "yeah, I always knew I'd be

successful" because that

sounds like I'm trying to be

cocky, but I knew I had

determination and I was

going to give it hell! So maybe

I didn't really "know" the buzz

would start growing, but I

"hoped"....and I'm still going to

give it hell!

We have read that you have

achieved everything you have to

date, with no major label or funding...

Do you feel in today’s market is it

better to go about things on your

own? What are some of the

advantages and or disadvantages

you have

encountered?

Not having funding is truly a disadvantage, but

you find ways to be resourceful! I have a couple

close friends and between the few of us we

do everything. Graphics, recording, music

videos... I mean really everything in house. The

advantage is you don't need to rely on too

many other people and you can do it YOUR

way!

Where do you get your inspirations for you lyrics?

Things I've been through in my life. Also I've been inspired by others artists.

Your upcoming tour has to paired with Blood On The Dance Floor, what can your fans expect from you this time around?

I just started touring last year and

I have already toured with a wide

variety of artists! Gangsta rappers,

horrorcore, oldschool, stoner

rappers, and now BOTDF who has

more of a electro pop kind of feel.

I don't like to limit myself... it's

great to open yourself up to

new fans!

Touring with a band such

as Blood On The Dance

floor and them being

in a different genre

than yours do you

see yourself as an artist

blending different genres of

music in the future? Why or why

not?

YES! I wan't to explore

different angles of my

abilities! Never narrow down

what you can accomplish...

try new things you just

may like it!

Tell us about “Team Underdog”

Some people think Team Underdog is a label, but it's not.. it's a movement! I call all my fans underdogs (and myself). We're so used to doing things independently we're really the underdogs of industry. I don't just mean myself either.. many other talented artists as well.
