DOWNFALL 2012

created the rebirth of Downfall 2012! We saw it fit to hang on to the name for that very reason… It was a personal apocalypse and a birth of a whole new era. Oh…and the world didn’t end either! haha

For people reading this interview and learning about you for

the first time, can

you explain you

particular style music?

DF2012: Alternative

Metal / Alternative

Punk Metal… If you

jam bands like System

of a down, Primus,

Tool, etc. you’d likely

dig our stuff!

For each of you how

prevalent was music

in your lives growing

up, and what drove

you to follow this as

your chosen career

path?

DF2012: Casey started drum lessons at

a very young age. Additionally, he took it

upon himself to learn guitar along with any

other instrument he could get his hands on.

He was in drum-line in school, and

recreationally wrote and recorded songs

from childhood to present. He also sang

for a number of bands as a young adult

before joining Downfall 2012. Boo was

drum-line as well. He started playing bass

and saxophone at an early age. He has

played in dozens of bands from Punk to

inde-rock to alternative,

etc. His punk band Fate

in Motion used to play

with Downfall 2012’s old

lineup, where I (Danny)

became a big fan of his

before inviting him into

the new incarnation of

Downfall 2012. Me, well,

I was always very into

music growing up. I

replaced video games

with the guitar around

age 12. I jammed with

friends and what not,

but was never really

traditionally trained. At

age 15 I was asked to

fill-in for the guitar

player of a local band called “Downfall”. This very quickly became a permanent position and my primary focus. It has been that way ever since.

So far we have seen 2 releases of a 3 part concept album from you...First, everyone whats to know when we will get our hands on the 3rd?
