T
he ReadPlayTalk Board members recently
met and established their call to action
and beliefs. The Board, which includes
members from all market sectors, including
politics, food service, nonprofit management,
auto repair, insurance sales and more,
has been charged with going out into the
Mesquite community to make gains for the
RPT initiative. Board members are responsible
for initiating new RPT efforts in businesses
and organizations throughout the city and
facilitating a cultural shift throughout the
Mesquite ISD community.
BELIEFS:
• We believe that reading, playing and talking with our
children builds strong, confident, productive lifelong
learners.
• We believe that establishing a ReadPlayTalk culture will
enhance the future of our community.
• We believe that ReadPlayTalk will support and inspire our
community to engage in early childhood literacy.
