church and their families have been close since they were toddlers. It wasn’t until they were teenagers though that they really noticed each other. Aaron asked Elizabeth out on several dates before she gave in, but it didn’t take many dates for her to realize they had something special. She’s so glad now that he didn’t give up on her!

The day after Elizabeth graduated from college, Aaron took her out for a special lunch to celebrate. They were both disappointed when Aaron’s dad called to ask for help with something back at home...or so Elizabeth thought. When they arrived, the place was packed with all their family and closest friends. Aaron had planned a “graduation party” to celebrate her milestone. Their loved ones each took turns speak-

ing encouraging words to Elizabeth,

congratulating her on her graduation. Aaron went last and finished with, “I’m proud of you and everything that you’re doing, but it’s my greatest desire to do it with you. I can’t wait to marry you. Will you please marry me and be my wife?” She said yes and the wedding planning began!

She and Aaron’s ceremony and reception were held at a private residence and were full of thoughtful and beautiful details. As guests arrived, they followed chalk hearts on the driveway to the ceremony and then

walked through a set of vintage doors to take their seat. The ceremony program was printed on a bag of sprinkles that guests would shower on the newlyweds during the

recessional. A wooden arbor draped in lace that had lace embroidery hoops hanging from it was a beautiful backdrop for the couple's marriage vows.

During their ceremony a breathtaking rainbow appeared after a brief shower. While no one wishes for rain at their outdoor wedding, in this case the gorgeous backdrop the rainbow provided was worth the shower.

Elizabeth's Advice for Brides-to-be:

“I wanted a breezy spring day for our outdoor ceremony and rain was my biggest worry. I stressed and stressed and stressed about the weather. In the end, the light shower during our ceremony was one of my favorite things about my wedding! God shows up in all kinds of ways to bless us. Don't stress about the things you can't control. Just enjoy the entirety of your day no matter what.”
