Opening its doors in 2009 in the inner city suburb of Redfern, Sydney, Seasonal Concepts offers a collection of pre- 1950s furniture, decorative objects and giftware for the home.

It's a treasure trove for the film industry and interior stylists, often seen perusing the unique pieces on display, ready for their next performance behind the camera.

Ken Wallis, along with his partner TR Keller, wanted to create a place abundant with florals along with an electic mix of vignettes, whilst paying tribute to the place's history - a two-storey Georgian style house built in 1856.

Natural light streams through the shop floor on sunny days, altering the mood whilst maintaining an air of mystery.

“It’s a great place for an adventure!” states Ken, at the ready to share a few stories and ethically source unique pieces for the discerning client.

Seasonal Concepts carries a 1950's charm and has hosted many a celebratory event, with Ken providing a personalised floristry service for the finishing touch.
