The Deli Kitchen is in
Dorchester’s Brewery
Square development, on the
site of the old Dorchester
Brewery.
There are many different
local kinds of cheese on the
board, but Liz’s favourite is
the cave-aged goat’s cheese.

DELI DELIGHTS
Liz picks five of her
favourites
The wide selection of teas
are from Dorchester’s The
Gilded Teapot.
1. Roasted cauliflower and
buckwheat salad
“It’s got that superfood element,
but because it’s roasted it’s got
some beautiful flavours in there.”
2. Lemon drizzle cake
“It’s just so lovely – very moist,
very tasty, very lemony.”
3. Cave-aged goat’s cheese
“It’s a hard goat’s cheese, and
because it’s cave-aged, it’s got
beautiful flavours.”
4. Dorset Blue Vinney and
Leek quiche
“That’s homemade with our own
pastry as well. The quiche sells out
every day – it’s so popular.”
5. Sausage rolls
“I didn’t think they’d sell very well,
but they’re gone in half a day!”
The olives are from
Olives Et Al, a Sturmister
Newton-based company.
Observer Food Monthly
said they’re the best olives in
the UK.
