It was around their kitchen table one night that Charlie and Nikki

Allhusen had the idea for Olive ’ s Kitchen . Named after Nikki ’ s great-grandmother , who was quite the cook , they decided to share the delicious wholesome meals they were making for family and friends with the rest of the county . The range of Olive ’ s Kitchen frozen meals are genuinely cooked at home and use great quality ingredients Nikki and Charlie source from local producers . All their meat , for example , comes from Parsons Butchers in Sherborne , all their herbs from the garden they can see out of the kitchen window , and even the ale and cider in their pies is from the West Country . By cooking in small batches , using the same methods and techniques a home cook would , they ensure their food is so much nicer than the average mass produced meal . They only use ingredients you would use in your own kitchen for a genuine home cooked taste . The Olive ’ s Kitchen menu has 11 dishes on at the moment , and takes in such classics as beef bourguignon , cottage pie , aubergine parmigiana , and steak & ale pie . Puddings are coming soon . From their table , where they came up with the idea , to your ’ s , it ’ s all made in Dorset .
