GNAC Miscellany
Ten GNAC contests – five men’s and five women’s – are
being televised on ROOT SPORTS this winter.
NCAA West Regional: Eight teams advance to the NCAA
Division II West Regional tournament that will be held
March 13-16 at a site to be determined. The tournament
will feature the champions of the GNAC, CCAA and
PacWest Conferences. The GNAC will determine its men’s
champion with a six-team tournament March 5-7 at
Billings, Mont. The women’s tournament begins a day
earlier at Alterowitz Gym. The PacWest and CCAA also
hold six-team tournaments to determine their champions.
Brad Adam and Bob Akamian are splitting play-by-play
duties, while Dave Harshman is providing analysis for all 10
contests.
The final game this Saturday sends Simon Fraser to
Western Washington in a women’s contest to wrap-up the
regular-season.
