My mom has taught me all that I know about culture. Anytime she thinks of an old movie or book that I need to read she tells me that it will add to my “cultural education”. My mom has taught me to be tolerant of those who are different and to grasp opportunities that I never would think would work for my life or be possible. My mom is my best friend and I love to talk to her and be around her. She is often the one who distracts me from my homework because I want to talk to her.
