Signiture Rhythm
By: My Dad, Robert Bradley
When asked to dance some may say
I can't because I've got no rhythm.
This, you see, cannot be true
We all mark time in our own unique way.
Our hearts, like internal metronomes
Maintain our own special beat.
Our one-of-a-kind brains, their synapses firing,
Electrify our hands and our feet.
With our own particular gait we walk
We speak with a personalized cadence
We learn, we grow, we fall in love
In our own time and at our own pace.
