BASC PERÚ participó del evento organizado por el Ministerio de
Comercio Exterior y Turismo del Perú junto a PROMPERÚ, realizado
el 21 de setiembre del 2016. Este evento se desarrolló en el marco
del Plan de Acción sobre la Seguridad de la Cadena Logística, en el
que se viene impulsando diversas acciones enfocadas a fortalecer
la seguridad en las operaciones de comercio exterior y promover
una cultura de prevención y seguridad en nuestro sector. BASC PERU participated in the event organized by the Ministry
of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru and PROMPERU, held
on September 21, 2016. This event took place within the
framework of the Supply Chain Security Action Plan, in which
several actions have been taken to strengthen security in
foreign trade operations and promote a culture of prevention
and security in our sector.
El Sr. Raúl Saldías, presidente de BASC PERÚ, participó del
evento mediante la ponencia “La Cultura de la Seguridad como
una Ventaja Competitiva de las Empresas”. Mr. Raúl Saldías, President of BASC PERU, participated in
the event through the presentation “Security Culture as a
Competitive Advantage of Companies”.

IN APEC 2016
BASC PERÚ fue invitado a participar en el Foro APEC 2016,
realizado el 20 y 21 de agosto del presente año, con dos
exposiciones. La primera estuvo a cargo del Sr. Carlos Vargas Loret
de Mola, Vicepresidente de BASC PERÚ, cuya participación estuvo
orientada a la Perspectiva del Sector Privado en el Programa OEA. BASC PERU was invited to participate in the APEC Peru 2016,
held on August 20 and 21, with two presentations. The first was
carried out by Mr. Carlos Vargas Loret de Mola, Vice-President
of BASC PERU, whose participation was oriented to the Private
Sector Scope in the AEO Program.
Por otro lado, en el marco del “Taller de Buenas Prácticas en los
puntos críticos para la implementación del Acuerdo de Facilitación
del Comercio (AFC) de la Organización Mundial del Comercio para
los países del APEC”, la Sra. Kandy Escobar Carmona, Gerente
de Formación y Capacitación de BASC PERÚ, desarrolló el tema
“Fomento de las PYMES para la implementación del Acuerdo de
Facilitación del Comercio de la OMC”. En el evento estuvieron
presentes más de 300 funcionarios y expertos anticorrupción
procedentes de las 21 economías del mundo y miembros del
Asia Pacífico - APEC, así como representantes de organismos
internacionales tales como la Organización Mundial de Aduanas
(OMA), la Organización Mundial del Comercio (OMC), la Comisión
Económica para las Naciones Unidas para Europa (UNECE),
la Organización para la Cooperación y Desarrollo Económico
(OCDE) entre otros representantes del sector privado. On the other hand, in the framework of the “Good Practices
Workshop on the critical points for the implementation of
the Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA) of the World Trade
Organization for APEC countries”, Ms. Kandy Escobar Carmona,
Education and Training Manager of BASC PERU, developed the
topic “Promotion of SMBs for the implementation of the WTO
Trade Facilitation Agreement”. More than 300 anti-corruption
officials and experts from the 21 economies members of Asia
Pacific - APEC, as well as representatives of international
organizations such as the World Customs Organization (WCO),
the World Trade Organization (WTO), the United Nations
Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), the Organization
for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and other
private sector representatives.
