“REALICE EXPORTACIONES SEGURAS” Talks
REQUIREMENTS TO IMPLEMENT AEO
BASC PERÚ en el año 2016 continuó afianzando su presencia en
el interior del país mediante las charlas gratuitas de sensibilización
BASC, logrando realizar seis (06) charlas en nuestras principales
ciudades del Perú ubicadas en: Arequipa, Trujillo, Iquitos, Ica,
Chiclayo y en nuestra Zona Norte (Piura, Tumbes y Paita). Teniendo
como objetivo sensibilizar a los exportadores respecto a la necesidad
de adoptar un Sistema de Gestión en Control y Seguridad (SGCS)
BASC para identificar y gestionar los riesgos. Las charlas contaron
con el apoyo de representantes de la Comisión Nacional para el
Desarrollo y Vida sin Drogas (DEVIDA); de la Dirección Antidrogas
de la Policía Nacional del Perú (DIRANDRO), representantes del
Capítulo BASC PERÚ como el Sr. César Venegas Núñez, Gerente
General de BASC PERÚ; y finalmente representantes de empresas
certificadas que participaron mediante ponencias según la ciudad. On February 19 of this year, BASC PERU continued to support
the AEO program by conducting a Free Talk on “Requirements
to implement the AEO Program - Authorized Economic
Operator”, with the objective of informing the exporting
community, users and cargo operators, about the criteria and
requirements to implement AEO certification in our country, in
order to reach the standards requested by the World Customs
Organization (WCO); as well as identify the BASC criteria
that serve as a platform for AEO implementation. The course
included in its main topics: Characteristics of Authorized
Economic Operator, Certification Criteria, Benefits, Certification
Process; Procedures for certifying AEO; Implementation of the
AEO Program, among others.

Foros de Concientización:
“TERCERO CIVIL RESPONSABLE” Awareness Forums:
“THIRD-PARTY LIABILITY”
En los meses de marzo y octubre, se llevaron a cabo dos (02)
foros gratuitos denominados “Tercero Civilmente Responsable”,
en el Auditorio de la Cámara Americana del Perú - AMCHAM.
El evento estuvo dirigido a los colaboradores de empresas
certificadas BASC; teniendo como expositor al Dr. Juan Mendoza
Abarca, Fiscal Provincial Titular Antidrogas de la 14° Fiscalía
Provincial especializado en el poder Penal de Lima, quien dio
algunas recomendaciones para que las empresas eviten verse
involucradas en hechos delictivos. Asimismo, se concientizó a
nuestros asociados sobre los riesgos, alcances y responsabilidades
de ser “Tercero Civilmente Responsable”; y se les dio a conocer
los procedimientos a seguir ante el hallazgo de sustancias ilícitas
dentro de la carga que puede generar responsabilidad penal directa
en la Alta dirección y colaboradores. También se realizó el foro en
la ciudad de Piura y en el puerto de Paita. In March and October, two free forums were held called
“Third-Party Liability”, in the Auditorium of the American
Chamber of Commerce of Peru - AMCHAM. The event was
aimed to employees of BASC certified companies, and the
keynote speaker was Dr. Juan Mendoza Abarca, Provincial
Antidrug Prosecutor of the 14th Provincial Prosecutor’s Office
specialized in the criminal courts of Lima, who gave some
recommendations for companies to avoid being involved in
criminal acts. Our partners were also made aware of the risks,
scope and responsibilities of being a “Third-Party Liability”;
and they were informed of the procedures to be followed for
finding illicit substances within the cargo that can generate
direct criminal responsibility in the senior management and
partners. The forum was also held in the city of Piura and in
the port of Paita.
